Video Visitation – On Site

Middle Peninsula Regional Security Center (MPRSC) understands and recognizes the value of family and friend connection during incarceration.  MPRSC has established two video visitation options for family and friends to utilize. Middle Peninsula Regional Security Center has partnered with Securus.

What is On-site Video Visitation?

Onsite video visitation is similar to standard through-the-glass visitation in that you will travel to the jail to visit with your loved one but using a touchscreen terminal located in our facilities lobby area while your loved one remains in the housing unit.

Here’s how it works:

Create a Securus Online Account or use your existing Securus account to register, you can also use the Securus App from your smart phone or tablet. Click on the below link to Create a Securus Online Account.

You will be required to upload a photo of yourself and your driver’s license.

Visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

You need to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled visit.

Bring your confirmation email and PIN number – you will need that to access your scheduled visit.

If your loved one moves housing units, leaves the facility, or declines the scheduled visit you will be notified via email by Securus.

MPRSC does NOT provide technical assistance beyond instructions provided at each terminal.

If you have questions, please contact Securus Customer Service.

Visitors are subject to a search upon entering the facility.

Due to the size of our visiting area and number of inmates confined in the facility, the following restrictions apply to visitors.

The maximum number of visitors per visit is limited to 3 family members or friends. Minor children under 18 counts toward the total number of visitors an inmate can have and an adult must accompany them.

Visits are limited to thirty minutes. This time cannot be broken up and used at a later time.

Family and friend visitation is non-contact and is conducted through Video Terminals. This means that your loved one will remain in their housing unit and you will see and talk with the inmate via a video terminal.

**Each inmate is allowed up to 2 FREE 30-minute visits per week with a limit of 3 people per visit. **
