Money received to be deposited to the Inmate's account will be in the form of money orders, cashier's checks or certified checks. Inmate's name will be printed on all money orders, cashier's checks or certified checks. Cash or non-certified checks will not be accepted. Money orders or checks may be sent by mail or dropped off in the Lobby Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays. When an Inmate is released or transferred from this facility, all monies will be returned by check. Inmate will provide an address for the money to be mailed. If Inmate is released from MPRSC, bonded or released from court after money has been deposited, all monies will be returned by check on the next business day. Checks can be picked up in the Lobby between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Proper identification must be shown. Upon release from this facility, any debts outstanding will remain on record for a period of three (3) years. If Inmate returns to facility during this time any negative balance on Inmates canteen account will be brought forward on Inmate's account. Money received will be credited towards outstanding debts.
